Bridging gaps for young adults in Vermont

Evaluation

The Young Adults in Transition (YIT) evaluation is a required part of Vermont receiving the YIT funding from the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). It provides information about Vermont’s local system of care achievements, young adult and family outcomes, and mental health and substance abuse service needs. The overall evaluation mission is to provide information that is useful to young adults, their families and adult allies, service providers, regional steering committees, and Vermont.

The evaluation section of the YIT website was designed to provide our regional partners, young adults, family members and adult allies, and other interested parties with information and resources around the evaluation. The site is organized into five sections:

Evaluation FAQs On this page you can learn more details about the overall evaluation and read answers to commonly asked questions.
Evaluation Studies and Measures The YIT evaluation is comprised of four studies. Learn about them here, and review what specific measures we’re using to track Vermont’s progress with the system of care.
Evaluation Reports It is the responsibility of our evaluation to share what information we learn, and this is the page where we’ll post our statewide and regional reports.
